Beyond Mindset
The work that actually changes how you compete
Multi-time Black Belt Worlds Medalist and certified nervous system practitioner. The only coach in the sport who carries both, and the only work in this sport that meets the body before the brain.
If this sounds familiar
You are better than your results
You walk into the training room and your jiu jitsu shows up. The technique is there, the flow is there, your training partners feel it, your coach sees it, the version of you who lives on those mats every Tuesday night is the version you trust.
Then you walk to the competition floor and that version disappears.
Your hips tighten, your breath rises into your chest, your vision narrows, and the opening you would have taken in training is suddenly invisible. You leave it on the table. You shake hands at the end and you cannot say what happened.
You have tried mindset coaches, breathing apps, more drilling, more visualization, and none of it has held, because none of it reached the layer where the freeze actually lives.
“That layer is not your thinking. That layer is your nervous system. That is the layer I work on.”
The free reset
FOR WHEN YOU NEED A RESET…..
A guided pre-competition audio I built for the athlete who has been told the answer is to think harder. The reset brings you back into the body that already knows what to do. I
root cause, not surface management
Mindset can name a pattern. Talk can explain it. Neither one can rewire it.
Most coaching in this sport works on the conscious mind. For everyone whose nervous system is not already regulated, those tools have a ceiling. The autonomic response fires before the thinking brain has a chance to weigh in. By the time you notice you are tight, your body has already decided. The work I do moves underneath that ceiling.
the work
Choose by the season you are in.
Three doors in. The right container depends on whether you have an event on the calendar and what the version of you that shows up on the day usually needs.
who i am
I built this work because I needed it first.
I started competing at 13 in horses. I lived through coaching environments that were extractive before I had a word for what was happening to me. I came back to my body twice, once after a horse accident ended my equestrian career, and once after twelve years in jiu jitsu ended in three herniated discs, a body in survival, and doctors telling me spinal surgery was my only option.
I did not have spinal surgery. I went to work on the layer underneath the layer. Nervous system regulation, subconscious reprogramming, functional nutrition, somatic protocols. The work that finally healed the body competition almost destroyed.
I am a Black Belt World Championship medalist, a Pan American medalist, a Brazilian National medalist, Murilo Santana's first female black belt, and a No-Gi World Champion at blue belt. I medaled at every major IBJJF tournament across four belt levels.
